Upgraded from max 2009 to Max 2010 - parang mabagal mag render sa 2010?

Good eve, cg people!
Help naman po, nag switch na po kasi kami ng max 2010 + vray 1.5 sp3a (2009 before), napansin ko lang, yung mga file ko from 2009max, pag inopen ko sa 2010 eh di na ganun yung final output sa rendering. Parang mas pumangit. Yung settings ko sa 2009 for final output eh, pagnirender ko sa 2010 eh iba na. Bakit po kaya? Sa rendering naman, mas mataas na specs ko ngayon compared sa dati ong ginagamit as in malayo pinag kaiba nila, pero sa pag render e parang mas matagal pa mag render yung bago kong specs? why? but i'm using the same render settings. Anyone can help? Thanks! More Power!

kuya can u post po ung 2 render. from 2009 and 2010. and, try to recheck your render settings kasi minsan akala ntin ok na pero may nakalimutan pa dn.

gumawa ako ng model (no materials) just my own final settings, i render it in 2009 (mas mabilis) 2010 (twice slower). i read some threads and i found out that there may be a bug problem on my vray 1.5 sp3a.. this may be the cause of that super bagal na render.. but i'm still waiting for our other comrads advice! salamat sa pag daan sir!

sa ngayon sir max design 2010 ang gamit ko at vray1.5 SP5 wala naman akong problema kasi license ang gamit ko. mabilis naman..

i jumped from max9 to 2010, now upgraded to 2011. i still find 2010 more stable particularly, 2011 have poly issues esp opening files made from 2010. rendering speed wise with vray i have no issues although i find that max9 + scanline is a lot faster than 2010 and 2011.

yup sir, baka nasa vray problema.. im using 1.5 sp3a, some says that, this sp3a is still buggy.. and maybe it is p*r*t*d..

uhm..i see.. thanks for the info sir, maybe i'll try to use vray 1.5 sp5 as ninong sez..

Better stick to what you are comfortable with, I'm still using 3dsmax2009 my comfort zone.
