guys......tanong lang kasi di masyado techie in terms of rigs...... I currently use an Acer laptop core2duo 2.2 ghz, 2gb ram laptop, now, I wanna upgrade it to 3gb, the question is, malaki ba ang improvement nito sa performance lalo na sa rendering time? medyo bitin kasi, minsan sa memory eh, tagal pa render....... pag di naman masyado mahahalata ang difference sa performance,.... di ko nalang upgrade.....

hope you can help me with this matter mga cgpeeps......thanks in advance....... Laughing

your laptop setup is at maximum.... ganda na yan... kung ako sau don't mind having another 1gig making it 4gig better yun if your aiming for a 64bit applications and giving up all 32bit application on the side.... ang actual allocation ng 1pc is 2-gig yet yours is 3-gig at indi rin nagagamit ang xtra 1gig loaded onto your laptop sayang lang din. naiinip ka lang sa speed ng machine mo dhil nagmamadali ka... but as i've said earlier good na ang laptop setup mo.... cheers and re:quad mura na ngayon ang quad setup and wise to buy it instead of buying a core2duo again Laughing

san ako makakahanap ng drivers for 64bit if i have decided to make it 4gb? example lang...
but a quadcore setup is more better kaysa sa 4gbram core2duo naman talaga. yes, i am thinking of setting up a quadcore rig pero di pa ngayon.....the main reason i bought a lappie is I just love its mobility lang talaga.......

tama ka din na nagmamadali lang kaya gusto i-upgrade....... thanks for sharing your views bro..... thumbsup

Ser pasingit poh.... tama ho si ser dickie about the actual allocation ng 1pc is 2-gig kung nka 32 bit OS kyo 2thumbsup .....pro kung may 3gig or 4 gig ram ka... you can try using "3gb switch" kung nauubusan ka ng memory sa ram mo ser.. (works for me thumbsup ) dilang ako sure kung pwde sa laptop... palagay ko pwede nman.... Smile you just need to set it before mo magamit.... in my experience kpag sobrang bigat na ung scene (khit ngproxy na... Sad ) yun yung last option ko ho after ko mgproxy (if your using vray engine).... musta photography natin ser?? hehehehhe... guitarhero

instead using 3gb switch use PAE para 4gb.....c:/boot.ini then modify the last words with /PAE..save ka muna ng extra c:/boot.ini just incase hindi mo makuha ng tama... Very Happy

sir OS po ang 64bit. core2quad is 64bit ready and if your motherboard can handle quad 100% it will run 64bit OS. basta bago mo lang sir install ung 64bit e download mo muna ung mga 64bit drivers for your hardwares (mobo, soundcard, videocard etc...) then save it on external HDD or USB then insert mo na sa DVDrom mo ung bootable installer mo ng OS 64bit restart then go to bios muna then enable mo ung 64bit kc baka naka32bit pa ung bios mo and assign mo ung dvdrom as first boot device. your good to go...

Fapz wala ako lam na link eh:

Eto na lang step by step:

1: punta ka sa my computer: right click then properties.
2:Punta ka ng "advanced" Tab
3:click "settings" sa perfomance
4:lalabas un "startup and recovery" window
5: sa "system Startup" click "edit"
change the last word to PAE it will look like this:

[boot loader]
timeout=30
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /fastdetect /PAE

Hindi mababasa ng windows un 4gb mo sa PC info...pero kapag nag-memory test ka makikita mo umaarya ang 4gb...
eto gawa ka ng bootable cd para itest ang memory download link: http://www.memtest86.com/

OLA! 4gb working now!
