2d floor plan to 3d questions

Good day to all, reminder po muna, i'm a total newbie in this field ... just finished autocad 2010 from microcadd.

Question po regarding 2d to 3d conversion.

1. When converting a 2d floor plan, ano po ba ang mauuna or better unahin na i-3d (extrude)?

As of now kasi wla kaming pasok, and I just wanted to practice here at home. Medyo nagugulo lang ako kasi pabalik balik ako sa layers ko, and me walls na ako pero nakalimutan ko pa yung columns. Pa-share naman ng diskarte kung pano magiging smooth yung flow ng convertion ko from 2d to 3d.

try mo to.

1. set up all walls,
2. create or cut all openings
3. create windows and doors on another layer
4. create furniture etc,
5. render
