How do I create a realistic bed cover?

Hi guys!

Ive been admireing some of the artwork here for quite som time know and i hope that someone will be able to help me with this. I see that many of you guys create really good covers for your beds in sketchup. How do you do it. I use Vray to render, but cant really get that realistic shape of the fabric (not the texture) but the shape itself. Any tips?

I think those good bed covers may have been modeled with another 3d modeling app and imported into sketchup. i maybe wrong but i think there is no way to model these inside sketchup because it has no cloth simulation.

use smooth and subdivide plugin by whaat. pero may bayad to.

you can download models from other website that has those kind of covers. they're pre made models.

no offense mga bro pero everything is possible to model in sketchup but you need to really master it..i have done the table cloth by manually connecting the curve edges into straight table top edge.bro just search from youtube and you will see the step by step of doing it.cheers
