Re: Could you be an Architect?
All i can say is Architecture is not really about "good hand drawing". Many old people then would say, "galing ng kamay pedeng architect".
Nobody would want to end and grow up being only a draftsman.
But in the real world, it is not about good drawing. Once my boss said,"you can always draw a bad design very nicely."
It is about being rational, sensitive, creating solutions though your knowledge about space, planning, environnment, engineering, sociology, culture, geography, lighting and so many things. Making things right and telling your client why it is right for me is the most important asset an Architect should possess. Drawings and others can be done by others if you cannot draw well, but it is definetly a plus if you can do both. Marketing plays also a big part in the business side.

Re: Could you be an Architect?
I started like this, kahit walang PC at CAD makaka-buo ng isang set ng drawing. Big factor pa rin ang marunong sa handwriting and drawing, this is how you communicate sa mundo ng Architecture. Sasamahan mo pa ng magandang Concept at Design...wooww, for me "you're an Architect"...TFS Sir Jenaro

Re: Could you be an Architect?
i always believe that if you are good in marketing you can be a good architect. if you can sell a car 50 % higher to its original price then you can be an architect. thats what i believe.
