"Top 5 titled thread" Public Anouncement

Dear CGPinoys,

In behalf of our mods, I'd like to apologize to all the members and lalo na kay icefrik19, for keeping the top 5 topic thread.

The reason for keeping it are as follows:
1. We don't want factions among ourselves. (although we don't intend to do this, but we might for reasons we can't explain yet as of the moment.)
2. We can admire people but not scale them with a certain range of measuring we only knew exist. (May kanya kanyang kakayanan ang bawat isa, at sa tingin namin ay hindi magandang ipagkumpara ang sinuman sa kung kanino man.)
3. We believe that the intentions are good. But it could be misinterpreted. (Very subjective at debatable ang topic and could lead into something "not so good")

We hope na maintindiha nyo kung bakit hindi na natin ipinagpatuloy ang thread about top 5.
Maraming alamat sa pagtangkilik ng ating komunidad. Magandang araw sa inyong lahat.

understood yan sir boks. i agree on certain points. maganda ng objective, mali lang siguro ang method.

i guess ang purpose lang naman ng thread starter was to showcase kung sino sino ang me impact sa community, whether it is the altruistic one - the one who shares the most 3d resources / tutorials - or the skilled one - inspires the community by virtue of his or her exceptional talent. or both. kanya kanyang criteria kasi ng what makes a good 3d artist.

the old 3dp used to showcase a few artists there (enigma, jon etc), perhaps it would be good to employ it here as well, parang spotlight section. i think this will also help steer the newbies towards the right role models in their 3d careers.

Napakababaw na isipin ang dahilan ng pagkawala ng thread na "TOP 5" (excuse me po ulit!)

Sa pagkatigil nito, ay para na ring pinutulan ng pagkakataon ang bawat isa na maipagkapuri o ikarangal ang mga Artists na kanilang tinitingala at tumatak sa kanilang buhay bilang mga talentadong Pinoy.

Sana'y inyung napansin ang ilang artists na nag-include ng mentors sa kanilang listahan.

Sa aking palagay bawat artists sa site na ito ay tinuturing na pantay-pantay ang isa't isa.. mapa-baguhan man o hindi. Sa larangang ito, alam ng lahat na tayo'y may kani-kaniyang kakayahan, interpretasyon at forte sa kung anung sining tayo nabibilang gaya nga ng nabanggit ni sir Bokkins.

Sumasang-ayon po ako na isang NAPAKAGANDANG IDEYA ang pagpi-feature ng Great Pinoy Artists sa site na 'to.

ANG SA AKIN LANG...

NAKAKA-FRUSTRATE NA DI KO NASILAYAN at NALAMAN ang "TOP 5" ng mga iniidolo kong 3d Artists at kung cnu kaya ang mga mentors nila...
