pano ko nasabi? mashadong "madrama" nga or maarte... ahahahaha
ganto kasi yun...
ang ginagawa nila, nire-reinvent nila... so they wash it out with paint...
that's how they "upgrade" the classics... nakakalungot minsan
- their expression of how they want to relive the classics kung baga...
"classic with modern twist" ika nga...

ayun lang... that's how i see it...nice catch sa nosing and tiles btw!
nice links! nangiti ako sa comment mo na hindi si mez ang nagdesign kasi madrama... i suggest you need to look around... it's not if the designer is a he or she... it's the in-born and acquired skills that separate the "madramang" gumawa at hindi i totally agree with you about the haspe thing... i am not a fan of pinapatay ang haspe... it gives an impression (of course rendering talk) na kasi mahirap magtexture kaya ginawa na lang plain...

Re: office project updated 07-30-2011
well, sir valiant....
before i look around, i suggest we settle how we should see "madrama"
coz it could sound a troublesome word for some... [pretty general word?]
some see madrama as too fancy; decorative;accent [you know, just for kicks]
some see it as evocative w/ all the nostalgia and sense of connection they feel.
or yeah, some will go technical and see how the lighting strikes us to the max...
but i knew you knew what i meant when i said "madrama" to this...
the drama that we see as a little fancy... a little superficial perhaps
as a way of putting a smile on your face - ahaha
so there we go...

Cool stair design. Books doesn't seem to fit in this scene.I'd say go for other books not the restaurant ones.
