thanks for the info.. no, i haven't met john, sa architecture ung career ko, although I am fascinated with any form of art, including modern art like yours.. kakasawa din kasi pag puro plans & structures nakikita hehe.. by the way- i checked wacom pen tablet on amazon.. ang mahal pala hehe but i think sulit naman and seems a good investment narin .

yup may kamahalan ang wacom pero sulit din naman..

update since this is a 50 percent 2d and half 3d might as well post this here. the scene was rendered in 3ds max vray, and the girl, candies, and monsters were done in photoshop.

one of my favorite pen and ink, color pencil works that ive done 4 years ago sad to say i stop doing it 2 years ago.. maybe when i grow old and retire il get back to it.. hehehe

hello, here's my latest work for my environment concept.. still a work in progress.. this would be more on a production type of coloring were you can tell the mood of the scene and its colors.. perspective is not that accurate.. but i think this would do for this piece.

FLY HIGH was chosen to be part of an Anime art book called "Mugeno" for the Otakon 2009 convention

Otakon is a fan convention in the United States focusing on East Asian popular culture (primarily anime, manga, music, and cinema) and its fandom. The name is a portmanteau derived from convention and the Japanese word otaku. Otakon is traditionally held on a Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in late summer at the Baltimore Convention Center in Baltimore, Maryland's Inner Harbor district. It is considered the second largest and one of the longest-running Anime conventions in the United States.
