Weird Reflection
Sorry kung na discuss na ito, I tried to search the forum and googled it pero wala ako makita na sagot.
tanong ko lang kung paano ko maayos yung reflection, bikt sya pixilated? not sure how to describe it, please see rendering. please help, thanks in advance.

sir suggest lang po,nakita ko kasi sa mat editor niyo na fresnel ginamit niyo?right?
try niyo po sir na taasan na ung fresnel IOR.from 1.5 to abot 8 or 10.or higher.sana po makatulong.

I can't see which pixelation you refer to.
But just in case and I am not sure if there are controls in Sketchup - pixelation may occur due to bad aliasing filters, or if found in bright areas like reflections - it could be caused by the lack of clamping.

I am not sure about the sketchup version, but the same thing might happen in max if you are using reflective interpolation for the glossies and the samplings are way too low. Anyways, andyan na si ka nomer for the rescue!

this is actually my first time to see this. so i want to learn too. mg is not even using any map (fresnel or what) so this what really surprised me. kung bakit naka ganun. it might be a negative face in sketchup. or it might be double materials. nevertheless i dont know unless i have the model.. usually vray has some probelm when it comes to vray skethchup materials. In this case too he cannot even adjust the multiplier in sketchup since his glossiness for both highlight and reflection is 1.
it might be a bug too. so i guess ot check it is bug. apply the same material on the surface and see if it has the same effect.

I'm just guessing, One thing to check are coplanar faces, there might be two or more faces in the same location.

actually from what you said, i 've learned from you and boks that in maxvray there is that parameter and now wondering how come we can only adjust that subdivision when we put an input of below 1.0 to both highlight and reflection glossiness in vray sketchup.
