I'll be starting a new thread here, and i hope all of us will contribute. Kindly post your very simple scene, or what you perceive that is simple.And this will also serve as a question and answer thread of how we attained something thats realy unique. Feel free to dig in some questions. Let me start.

My 1st simple scene done in Max 9 + Vray 1.5 RC3
2nd Simple scene done in Max 9 + Vray 1.5 RC5

dude z - for me parang frosted ung ice, even ung glass? in real life kapag nasa meltdown process ang ice eh medyo clear na ung mismong ice and pati ung glass mo, dapat clear na din ung body nya... 14 hrs? tindi mo dude, pag nagtatagal ang render bucket ko sa isang place kina-cancel ko agad, ginagawan ko ng solusyon, adjust here and there lang... thanks for sharing ulit nga pala, mas marami ka pang post dito kesa sakin...wahehehe...

oo nga frosted na sya di ko na magawa clear e kasi nagsawa na ako sa 14 hours,atleast nakita mo di ba dagdag na naman sa mga reader dito kung alin ang sablay sa mga post...post mo kasi yong mga luma at bago mo...tingnan mo kung ilan view na ang thead na to...grabe dami...
wala mga practice ko naman post ko dito e,inaayos ko lang sa ps ,wahihihi di naman padamihan ang post dito yata e,sharing lang ng concept or idea.ayoko na nga mag post, wahihihi joke joke joke!

try to stick with the rules of this tread.... simple scene lang ata dito not exceeding to 10 components. sa books palang more than ten na nice lighting though

@tsukoy: if the books are the only problem on my post sir,i think i have a case here..why? because for me the books can be cosidered as one element especially if those books are on the same place,the shelf..correct me if im wrong sir..but nevertheless if you still think and consider my rendering not to be posted in this thread,feel free to delete it sir..my apologies..regards!

Depth of field, whether daya sa PS or pahirapan sa max is not really "simple" is it? Chalk one up with regards to the TS' title...
Lets un-blur your scene; hmmm I'm seeing more than 10 components in your piece... One up again...
So, its all a matter of "perception"; everything is relative... Your scene is simple for you as sir rtp's scene is simple for him... You could have called him up on other points; as it is its a technicality you're bringing up...
Besides that's one of my fave movies showing so hussshhh & pass me the popcorn...
