I'll be starting a new thread here, and i hope all of us will contribute. Kindly post your very simple scene, or what you perceive that is simple.And this will also serve as a question and answer thread of how we attained something thats realy unique. Feel free to dig in some questions. Let me start.

My 1st simple scene done in Max 9 + Vray 1.5 RC3
2nd Simple scene done in Max 9 + Vray 1.5 RC5
3rd Simple Scene done in Max 9 + Vray 1.5 RC5
4th Simple Scene done in Max 9 + Vray 1.5 RC5 (practice stage pa din to dati)

SETTING: only Final Gather FG point 1, Rays 500, Interpolation 300, multiple bounce 2. Sampling 1:16
UPDATE:
PS blurring for DOF effects
Raw file: Setting of Global Illumination (default) & Final Gather FG point 4, Rays 500, Interpolation 300, multiple bounce 0. Sampling 1:256

mga Sir, pasali din dito.. sa mga dati pa lalo na sa 3DP cguro maalala nyo to... ginawa ko to 3 years ago. PS knina... sana umakma sa thread n to!!! wala kasi akong bagong gawa kaya eto na lang muna... salamat sa lahat!!!

ito po yung wires at raw rendered imagses. tapos lahat po post process na sa cs3, glass reflection ng helicopter, pag ikot ng elesi etc.bale dalawang magkahiwalay na files, tpos pinagsama ko nlang.hdri based lighting po yung 1st image, tpos sa 2nd image nman white lang yung bg nya.

sir comment ko lang dito mahirap mukuha yong books na sa sakto lang ang size sa shelf...imho lang wahihi pero tama si erick panalo nga ang lighting mo.

@ wesslee, bro di ko sure kung qualified ako para sa tuts ng carpet na yan hehe, kakaaral ko pa lang nito e hehe
anyways, here is the trick:
1. Create a plane
2. Apply Hair and Fur from the mody tab and modifier list.
3. Adjust properties according to your preferences from the General Parameters and Material parameters.
Note: you may click on Display Hair and click show geometry to give you idea how it looks like.
4. If satisfied from your carpet result go to Tools (just below selection), go to Convert and click hair -> mesh
5. You can either render this right off or convert to proxy for fast render.
Hope this helps.

@sir erick and sir zdesign: oo nga sir medyo repetitive yung mapping..24books lang kasi yung mapping ko tapos copy copy na lng..pag gumawa ulit ako mga sir mas sisipagan ko na yung libro..hehe! tapos di ko pa iniba iba ng size..hehe! sakto pa sa shelves..yung lighting ko naman mga sir ginamit ko lang yung lighting setup ko sa exterior rendering binago bago ko lang yung shutter speed..pero masaya pa rin mga sir at medyo pumasa yung lighting ko sa inyo..maraming salamat sa inyo mga sir..next time mas sisipagan ko na..godbless!
